What is a Schoolhouse Portfolio? How can it boost my college applications?
Updated this week

As you continue your journey on Schoolhouse, you build a Portfolio that showcases both your certifications as well as your contributions as a volunteer tutor.

Your portfolio can be found at any time on schoolhouse.world by selecting your profile, found on the bottom left corner on a computer or tablet, bottom right on mobile, then selecting "My Portfolio." You can see an example portfolio here.

What can I do with my portfolio?

The Schoolhouse portfolio is accepted by our 38 College Partners as a meaningful credential in official colleges applications - learn more about how to submit your portfolio to each of these partners by reading below.

Of course, we encourage you to send your Schoolhouse Portfolio to any school, even if it isn't listed here. We've even had students send it to employers, scholarship applications, and more!

How can I submit my portfolio to Schoolhouse's College Partners?

Please note that we just added out newest cohort of Fall 2024 partners and will be adding their instructions in the coming months. If you are submitting an application to a university that hasn't provided submission instructions to Schoolhouse yet, we recommend adding your portfolio in the "Additional Information" or "Other Materials" section in the college’s applicant portal or contacting the university admissions office to inquire.

See below for more detailed information about our college partners, and how you can send them your portfolio:
