About

We will use calculus to explore vectors, kinematics, and projectile motion. We will build from the ground up, developing intuition and deriving the origins of each formula.

For this class, we will have slides outlining the plan and collaborate together on a whiteboard to solve problems. It might be helpful to bring a pencil and a piece of paper if you prefer to take notes or write on paper instead of the whiteboard.

Please ensure you have a basic familiarity with differential and integral calculus. Although I will try to cover everything you need to know, it may be beneficial to have some foundational understanding. Prior knowledge of physics is recommended (although new participants are welcome), but keep in mind that we are here to reinforce and clarify concepts rather than learn them from scratch.

I hope you'll join us for this session!

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Sunday sessions are mandatory and cover a large chunk of material, focusing on theoretical concepts. These sessions last a few hours, depending on everyone's availability. Weekday sessions, held early in the morning (ET), are highly recommended but not expected every time. They are beneficial for those wanting to tailor their learning a little more. We will emphasize practice during these sessions.

About the Tutor

Hi everyone! I'm a high school senior in Ontario, Canada. I have been doing web development since grade seven and have achieved a perfect score on Waterloo CCC JD. I'm also passionate about STEM and engineering. I have been a coordinator, programmer, designer, and builder on a VEX & First robotics teams. I have also taught myself in AP Calc BC and AP Physics C, and I am currently working through MIT's Principles of Chemical Science and AP Stats. I love these subjects and would love to help out anyone in need!
