About

Hi, I'm Ian, and I'm excited to help you guys prepare for the December SAT! Getting tutored was a really helpful experience for me, which makes me even more excited to do it myself! I've tutored 10 bootcamps since I started over a year ago, and I'm looking forward to tutoring again. I want to work even harder this time to make sure you guys perform as well as possible on the exam.

Another note is that I would LOVE for you guys to try to unmute and maybe even turn on your cameras during classes. I know it's sometimes not possible and you might not feel comfortable with it, but doing this really makes it a more interactive experience and will help you have a better time in our sessions and learn even more—you get as much out of the tutoring as what you put into it.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi, I'm Ian! I'm a high school student from Illinois. I tutor on Schoolhouse because I think it's really cool to help others practice and improve, since tutoring was an incredibly helpful experience for me myself, and I've been tutoring the SAT for over a year now! In my free time I enjoy hanging out with friends, gaming, and watching YouTube.

Practice and review official full-length SAT® practice tests, including one Bluebook test.

Get personalized support with the most challenging questions and concepts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.

Note from Schoolhouse: This series has sessions with required attendance. If you need to miss a required session, submit an absence using the "Submit Excused Absence" button on the series page. Multiple unexcused absences may lead to a suspension of your Schoolhouse account.
