About

Hi! I'm Serena, a guinea pig loving high schooler and official SAT veteran! I'm in scholastic bowl (think competitive trivia), which my teacher calls trivial and kind of shallow. Maybe he's right, but learning random facts is pretty cool! My other hobbies include drawing on myself and avoiding my chemistry homework. By the way, you should probably go outside. Trust me, it's good for you. This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in both Reading and Writing & Language. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

About the Tutor

I'm Serena, a high school graduate! I like guinea pigs, cartooning, and reading. In school, I was involved in scholastic bowl, Key Club, and drama. (Any theatre kids? I'm not talented enough to act, but I'm in stage crew. Moving heavy things for the win!) I'm taking a gap year this year, and I hope to study engineering after that. I'm excited to be a tutor here!
