We'll be diving into 1st generation Kpop: exploring how it started and the groups that catapulted this genre of music into the limelight in Korea. We'll listen to some popular songs from the era and get to know some of the main groups and their members from the 90s.

In this session, we'll be talking about 2nd generation Kpop. We'll discuss how the genre began to expand out of Korea and what spurred that popularity. We'll also listen to some songs, watch some music videos, and look at some stages and award show moments.
