About

We will be learning about variables, expressions, exponents, and the order of operations in this series. Each of these topics will be covered in depth with many subtopics, including exponents, squaring numbers, the zeroth power, comparing exponent expressions, exponents of a decimal, powers of fractions, variables, terms, factors, coefficients, evaluating expressions, expression value intuition, evaluating expression word problems, writing algebraic expressions, distributive property, like terms, and equivalent expressions. No previous knowledge about these topics is required. We will be doing many practice problems, so I would suggest coming to each session with paper and a pencil/pen. No calculator will be required.
