About

In this series, we will go over most of the units covered in AP Computer Science A to prepare you if you are taking AP Computer Science A this upcoming school year or if you are just learning Java. While this series is primarily based on AP Computer Science A, students who are interested in learning Java as well as interested in understanding computer science are also welcome to join! Additionally, a survey will be conducted in our first session to decide what topics to emphasize throughout the series. Since this course is intended to prepare students for APCSA, students will not be required to install Java on their computers and begin coding; instead, the course will focus on a more conceptual lens of Java. Nevertheless, students are still more than welcome to code and follow along with the instructor if they wish to do so.
