✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Learner Attendance Policy

**1. Attendance Requirement:

Expectation: Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and participate actively in all course activities.

Absences: If a student knows in advance that they will be absent, they should inform the instructor at least 24 hours before the class.

**2. Punctuality:

Start Time: Classes will begin promptly at the scheduled time. Students are expected to arrive on time. Late Arrival: If a student arrives late, they should join the class quietly without disrupting the session. **3. Recording Absences: Documentation: The instructor will keep a record of attendance for each class. Excused Absences: Absences due to illness, family emergencies, or other legitimate reasons will be considered excused if documented. **4. Participation: Active Involvement: Regular attendance and participation are crucial for success in this course. Students are encouraged to engage in discussions, activities, and group projects. Contribution: Active participation will be considered as part of the overall course evaluation. **5. Make-Up Work: Missed Classes: Students who miss a class are responsible for catching up on missed content. They should review class materials and complete any assignments independently. Additional Help: If needed, students can schedule a meeting with the instructor to discuss missed material or assignments. **6. Consequences of Poor Attendance: Excessive Absences: Students with more than three unexcused absences may receive a warning. Continued poor attendance may impact their final grade and course completion. Communication: Open communication with the instructor is encouraged if there are any issues affecting attendance. Participation: Students should participate actively in online discussions and activities, just as they would in a physical classroom. **7. Feedback: Student Feedback: Students are encouraged to provide feedback on the attendance policy and any other course-related issues to ensure the learning environment remains supportive and effective.
