About

We will go over the basics of violin playing. Our first two sessions will be orientation and learning about the parts of a violin. The next two sessions will be bow hold and violin positioning, and by the last few sessions we will start playing simple melodies. I can do more advanced techniques based on prior experience. A violin and a bow is necessary for this class. Please bring a shoulder rest and rosin if possible.

Tutor Qualifications

I have been playing violin for 6 years. I followed the Suzuki method for 5 years and graduated from levels I, II, III, and III with the Suzuki Association of Washington State.
