About

We will go over the first unit of calculus, limits and continuity, in great detail. This is in line with the AP Calculus AB/BC curriculum, but those not in/going to take AP can take this course to get an effective foundation for calculus. I am making a different series for each unit so you do not have to commit to the entire curriculum and can just join the units you want to go over/need the most help with.

SESSION 1

Limits and continuity

Limits and continuity

Wed 12:30 AM - 2:00 AM UTCJun 14, 12:30 AM - 2:00 AM UTC

This lesson is all about limits. We will look at what a limit is/limit notation, how to estimate limits by using graphs and tables, determining limits from an algebraic expression, determining infinite limits, and using the squeeze theorem. We will work on problems throughout, and any extra time we have will be used for practice problems/student questions.

SESSION 2

Limits and continuity

Limits and continuity

Thu 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCJun 15, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

This lesson is all about continuity. We will look at different types of discontinuities, how we can verify if a function is continuous or discontinuous, and what the intermediate value theorem (IVT) states and how we can apply it. We will work on problems throughout, and any extra time will be used for practice problems/student questions.
