Space exploration has been a source of fascination for humans for centuries, presenting the opportunity to learn about our universe, develop new technologies, and find solutions to Earth's most pressing challenges. Today, space exploration is more vital than ever, and it continues to inspire a new generation of space enthusiasts. In this series, we will delve into the many aspects of space exploration, from the science behind space travel to the individuals who have dedicated their lives to exploring the universe. Throughout the series, we will learn about the missions that have shaped our understanding of the universe, from the first human landing on the moon to the ongoing exploration of Mars and beyond. We will explore the challenges and triumphs of these missions, and we will witness the incredible achievements that have been made possible through human ingenuity and perseverance. Whether you are a student, a teacher, or simply a curious learner, there is something here for everyone. Join us on this journey of discovery and let's explore the final frontier together. Some of the things we will cover in this series are listed below: - What is space exploration? And why is it important? (Basically a brief history of Space Exploration) - Some important agencies involved in space exploration - An Overview of the Solar System - The Space Race - How robots were used in space exploration And so many more topics to come…

Tutor Qualifications

I know a lot about space exploration because I have taken a class about astronomy and space exploration course. In addition, I regularly read about space exploration during my free time. Rest assured that this may be my first time tutoring at Schoolhouse, but I am confident I can provide exceptional assistance.

Shubhankar (Co-host):

I am a passionate sophomore (10th grade student) from India, deeply fascinated by the subjects of astronomy, astrophysics, physics, and math. I am the leader of the High School Astronomy Club in my city, and I have a real passion for the subject. I've even won first place twice in regional competitions like the SOF and Copernicus Olympiad, which shows how much I know about astronomy. Right now, I'm getting ready to compete in the International Astronomy Olympiad (IAO). I've also been reading books on astronomy and taking an online course on EDX to learn even more. I love learning about space, and I'm excited to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with others. You can trust me to teach a course that's engaging and informative.

About the Tutors

I am a high school student from Texas. I heard about Schoolhouse.world from watching a video on YouTube. In my free time, I like to study, and I also like to paint and draw in my free time as well. But I also love to dance and sing. I also spend some of my free time programming and coding, because I want to improve those skills.
