About the Tutor

Hi! I'm a high school student with a passion for education. When I'm not blasting Harry Styles or Phoebe Bridgers, you can find me reading poetry, baking, or crocheting. I’m currently taking a variety of AP classes, and I'm also a coach, subworld moderator, and user support co-lead here at Schoolhouse—if you have any questions or want to review topics together, feel free to reach out! I’d love to help.

Session 1

Other Topics

Welcome! We will be going over the structure for the SAQ for all AP History classes. A prompt from AP World and APUSH will be used, and the first thing we're going to do is discuss the three common types of SAQs. Then, we're going to practice them together, and by the end of the hour, you'll have written 3 SAQs that will earn you full points!

After we review the SAQs from yesterday, we will be going over the structure for the DBQ for all AP History classes. A prompt from AP World and APUSH will be used, and the first thing we're going to do is go over the rubric and explain what to include to gain points. Then, we're going to write a DBQ step-by-step responding to this prompt, and hopefully by the end of an hour, you'll have written a DBQ that will earn you full points!
