In this session, we would cover general questions from Khan Academy to test our skills on different topics. Also, I will expect you to ask me at least 2 questions you might have and we will all treat them together.

Percentages

In this session, we will be focusing on percentages and how to understand the various forms of asking questions on percentages. We will learn how to convert from percentages to decimals and vice-versa.

Equations & inequalities introduction

In this session, I will be introducing you to equations and inequalities. From the understanding of the basic signs to the steps to finding solutions to simpler questions, I will be confident in your ability to apply them after this session

Roots, exponents, & scientific notation

In this session, we will focus on roots and exponents. You will learn about the mathematical rules for solving roots and exponents. There will be a few assessments to test your ability to apply those rules and I will explain further using those assessments.

Functions and linear models

In this second part, we will dive into functions and equations! In this session, we will focus on the characteristics of functions and how to model linear functions

Multi-step equations

In this session, we will focus on multi-step equations. Here, you will be able to solve equations at this level effortlessly.

Session 9

Systems of equations

In this session, we will focus on systems of equations where we understand the two major ways of solving: elimination and substitution. We will be able to apply both methods to solve a couple of questions.

Review

Congratulations! In this last session, we will go through all we have learned in the past nine sessions and ensure that we can apply them to problems. I will also answer any final questions that might bother you on these major pre-algebra skills. Good luck!
