About

Hola! Are you interested in learning Spanish but don't know where to start? Well, you're at the right place. This series is intended towards teaching the basics of Spanish and will give you a clear picture of what learning Spanish is like. This series consists of 5 sessions. Each of them will cover a specific topic like greetings/introductions in Spanish, verb conjugations, tener expressions, etc. Learners will be given a note sheet to fill out during the session (which the learners can keep). Additional resources like quizlet links for the vocabulary will also be provided during the session. At the end of every session, we will be playing Kahoot to ensure that everyone understands the lesson! Along with the kahoot, there are several activities for the learners that will make this learning more fun. I'm super excited and I hope to see you soon :)

Tutor Qualifications

I have taken Spanish for the past 7 years and I have passed the STAMP test that says that I am officially bilingual (proficient in Spanish too).

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

You will be withdrawn from the series if you have more than 2 unexcused absences in a row. Please message the tutor in advance for any absences! If necessary, make-up sessions will be held.

Hi everyone. I am Venesha and I am a junior in high school. I am very excited to be a tutor as well as a learner. I am currently focusing on topics in Geometry and soon, I will also be focusing on topics in Pre-Algebra and Algebra as well.

Session 3 We will be going over the different tener expressions and their meanings. We will be going over the verb tener and how it's used in this concept, and this will be followed by an activity. We will be ending with a kahoot!

Session 4 We will be going over numbers in Spanish. We will learn numbers from 1 to 100, which seems like a lot but trust me, it's really not that much. We will do many activities and end the session off with a kahoot :)
