About

Hey there, and I'm so glad that you are interested in learning more about the World Wars! Each week, we will review World War 1 and 2 topics and how different events led to the Wars. We will have sessions twice a week, and there will be Gimkits or Kahoots after each lesson at each session:) See you there!

For this session, we will be learning about the Major Events that led up to World War 1.

World History

For this session, we will be learning about the beginnings of WW 1. We will also learn of how different countries were swept into the war, and how the US entered the war as well.

For this session, we will be learning about how the world was affected by post-WW I. I will be talking about the conditions under which authoritarian leaders rose to power following World War I and the economic effects of both World War I and the Great Depression.

For this session, we will be learning about the big picture of the war in the major areas it was fought. We will be learning about how the Second World War began, and how WW 1 contributed to WW 2.

Today we will be going over the particulars of the atomic bomb, and why it was dropped. You will learn about the short-term and long-term effects of dropping the atomic bomb. Also, you will find out the reasons why President Harry Truman decided to use the bomb.

World History

This is the last session! Today you will learn how World War II led directly into what has been called the Cold War. You will learn about the effects of World War II and the post-war plans developed by the Allies, including the creation of the United Nations. You have also learned how the end of World War II began a competition between world superpowers known as the Cold War. By the lesson's end, you should know what the Americans and Soviets disagreed so strongly over and how the world's leaders tried to prevent another large-scale war from breaking out again.
