About
This class is an introduction to Spanish and beyond. The course will cover grammatical concepts, vocabulary, conversational participation (non-mandatory), and Latino/Hispanic culture. The course will adapt depending on the skill levels of the class. By the end, you will find yourself immersed in the Spanish Language and Latino culture! This class is mainly for fun and Spanish enrichment.
Tutor Qualifications
I am a native bilingual Spanish and English speaker, with Spanish was my first language. Apart from this, I've taken AP Spanish Language & Culture and scored a 5 (perfect score) on the AP exam.

The content will build on itself each consecutive class so please try to miss as little meetings as possible.

Orientation
This session is to get to know everyone, do an icebreaker, and discuss what we would like to learn about in the upcoming sessions. You'll learn how to introduce yourself in Spanish, or share a personal anecdote for the more advanced learners. We'll also go over some foundation vocabulary found in Spanish media.

Enrichment
We'll look at some common phrases that Native speakers use. Also, we'll cover and practice some vocabulary useful for traveling, restaurants, family, and shopping. We'll look at some Hispanic clips as well.

Enrichment
Continuing with building our vocabulary, we'll look at some words and phrases to do with school and people. Also, we will cover present tense and begin to realize conjugation. Throughout the class, there will be some exercises (not graded). To finish, the class will get to see some Hispanic cultures.

Enrichment
This class will cover scenarios including schedules, people, school, and agreement all in Spanish. Additionally, we'll continue to look at the present tense as well as past tense and "to be" (ser/estar).
