SAT Reading & Writing

This is an introductory meeting! We will start by discussing any topics that learners have struggled with in the past or have questions about.

SAT Reading & Writing

We will pick up from where we left off at the last session. The main topic we will focus on is vocabulary in context, reviewing some of the most common SAT words and their definitions.

Office Hours

This is an OPTIONAL session for students who have missed any sessions and need to catch up. Feel free to bring any new questions that have stumped you, and we can try working them out together.

SAT Reading & Writing

We'll start by reviewing last week's lessons, a list of prefixes and suffixes, and a vocabulary quiz. Then, we'll discuss Dual Text questions and my strategy for getting to the correct answer faster.

SAT Reading & Writing

We will spend this session discussing rhetorical questions and common traps CollegeBoard likes to include in answer choices. Then, we will take and review a short quiz on the topics we have covered so far.

We'll start with a quiz on the topics we have covered so far, then discuss common trick answers and how to ace the questions on the "Standard Convention of English."

This session will cover Claims (also called Command of Evidence) questions, and we will have another short quiz if time permits.
