What is a variable? What does it mean to "combine like terms"?
Join this series to learn and practice these fundamental Algebra concepts! We'll be covering the material in the "Algebra Foundations" unit of Khan Academy, and then we'll complete the unit test together.
This series is perfect for you if you're currently taking Algebra and feeling like you're missing something, or if you're taking pre-algebra and you want to set yourself up for success when you take Algebra.

We'll review some key concepts and practice problems in Introduction to Variables and and Equivalent Expressions. This will include evaluating expressions with one variable and looking at different equivalent expressions.

OPTIONAL - Catch-up session! Join to review foundational concepts that are important for understanding evaluating expressions with one variable or identifying/evaluating equivalent expressions and go through any questions you might have about previous sessions.

Algebra foundations
We'll review some key concepts and practice problems in Combining Like Terms, Substitution and Evaluating Expressions, and Division by Zero. This will include evaluating expressions with two variables: with and without fractions & decimals, combining like terms with negative coefficients, negative coefficients & distribution, and rational coefficients.
