About

Having taken AP Physics 1 last year, I know the pacing of the class is quite fast, I was expected to come to class, already have watched assigned videos, and ready to work. Through this course, I aim to prepare students taking AP Physics 1 next year by taking the time to explain the foundation concepts of physics and give students the time to ponder and ask any questions they have. A feature that may not be available to them in the actual AP Physics class because of its pace.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Physics lessons are pretty much based on each other, if you miss a lesson, you may not be able to understand the next. If you are going to be absent please let me know in advance so we can arrange something for you to catch up. Two unexcused absences may result in your withdrawal from class.

About the Tutor

Hello there! My name is Omar, I'm a high school rising senior from the U.S. and I'm passionate about STEM subjects (especially physics) and computer science! Being a student myself I know how it feels not to understand something and not have anyone to explain it to you, therefore, through Schoolhouse, I aim to be an assistant and help students around the world with topics in math or science that they need help with!

Session 10

Newton's laws

At this point, we would've covered semester 1 of AP Physics, including all the foundations and concepts that semester 2 material is based on. In this session, we will look at how everything relates and works together, and how a problem can be solved using an energy, force, and momentum approach. In addition to any questions, students may have.
