Join us on this 6-session series where we explore the fascinating game of chess! Learn tactics & strategy of this age-old game, build a tournament-ready opening repertoire, and show off your skills in chess.com tournaments and competitions. Furthermore, become a part of the large and rapidly-growing SchoolHouse chess community.

Tutor Qualifications

I am a professional national and international chess player who has been playing for over 8 years. I am the #1 chess player in the state of Georgia for age group, and a USCF-certified Class A player. Furthermore, I have earned the AIM (Arena International Master) title from FIDE, which is the international governing body of chess. I have played over 200 official chess tournaments across 2 countries and 9 states.

About the Tutors

I am a high school student from Georgia and a math tutor here on schoolhouse. I have aced all of high school math (Algebra 1, Geometry, & Algebra 2), and I have scored perfect on SAT math many times. I also have extensive experience and success in competition mathematics. In addition, I am a professional national and international chess player who has been playing for over 8 years. I am the #1 chess player in the state of Georgia for age group, and a USCF-certified Class A player. Furthermore, I have earned the AIM (Arena International Master) title from FIDE, which is the international governing body of chess. I have played over 200 official chess tournaments across 2 countries and 9 states. Note: If you attend a chess session taught by me, please join chess.com/club/academy-of-caissa for frequent tournaments, lessons, community posts, and more! I can fluently speak and understand English, Hindi, and Marathi. It would be preferred if you can understand at least one of these languages in order to comprehend material taught in my sessions.

I am an incredibly driven highschooler studying in one of the top magnet programs here in Georgia, who is also a chess tutor on schoolhouse. Due to my program I have an extensive background in both math and science having completed magnet level (honors except harder), chemistry and physics. I have also done college level biology. In math, I completed honors algebra 1, honors geometry, honors advanced algebra, and AP precalculus. Additionally, I am an incredibly experienced chess player having played over 7000 lifetime games, recieved formal training, and has won multiple tournaments. Other than chess and academics, in my free time I enjoy basketball, swimming, badminton, videogames, spending time with friends, and getting fresh air.
