The college board always throws in a couple of mind-boggling math questions. Sometimes, we don't even know where to start. While not as frequently tested, a couple of difficult problems may appear on your test that fall underneath "Additional topics." These topics cover geometry, trigonometry, and complex numbers. Collegeboard provides you with some formulas, but you will also have to memorize some yourself. If you are aiming for a perfect score, getting these types of questions down is crucial. If you are preparing for the August SAT, reviewing and practicing these topics can boost your score by a couple of points. Our goal is to answer these questions more confidently and efficiently. There will be 6 sessions in this series. We will go over content, complete practice problems, and do a couple of Kahoots. I have a set plan, but we can always change the session to adjust to your needs. There will be a lot of content in this series so make sure to take notes. I will also publish the link to my slides/docs. Hope to see you then!
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
This series will consist of 6 sessions that are between 60-80 minutes in length. Please don't miss more than two sessions and message me if you are not able to make a session.

Session 1
Orientation
First, I will go over the structure of this series, we will introduce ourselves to each other, and assess your needs. Then, we will dive into angles and polygons. We will complete practice problems as we go through each topic. After each session, I will assign you a couple of practice problems to do. They should be completed prior to the next session. In the next session, we will review our homework problems.

Session 2
SAT Math
In session 2, we will go over volume and surface area. This will be a shorter session content-wise. We will complete practice problems and do a 10-15 question Kahoot at the end that covers information from Session 1 and 2. There will be a couple of homework problems due prior to the next session. Ask questions throughout the session and hope to see you then!

Session 3
SAT Math
In session 3, we will go over the bulk of geometry: Triangles. This session will include types of triangles, similar triangles, and a sprinkle of trigonometry. This session will be a little longer due to the amount of content. We will complete practice problems as we go through each topic. Finally, we will do a short 5-10 question Kahoot over triangles. There will be a couple of homework problems due prior to the next session. Ask questions throughout the session and hope to see you then!

SAT Math
In session 4, we will be going over circles. We will go over the basic properties of a circle, arc measure/length, sector area, and the equation of a circle. We will go over practice problems and do a short 5 question Kahoot at the end. There will be a couple of homework problems due prior to the next session.
