About

Hello! This class will go over every single unit for AP Biology. Every other day, we will try to review a small portion of each unit. Make sure to come prepared to learn because this series will go into depth about the different topics for Biology.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please try not to miss more than two sessions in a row. This is because AP Biology is a content hefty course so missing a lot of information is detrimental to you guys. Also, please message me through Schoolhouse if you cannot attend one of these sessions so I can gauge the number of students in class.

AP Biology

This session will cover Unit 1, topics 1.1 to 1.3. These topics will cover basic chemistry knowledge, structure of water, properties of water, different types of macromolecules, and water based reactions.

This session will cover Unit 1, topics 1.4 to 1.6. These topics will cover the structure and function of biological macromolecules while also reviewing the different structural components of DNA and RNA.

AP Biology

We are going to go over parts of Unit 2: Topic 2.1 to 2.3. This is going to contain everything about organelle function, and their structures, and also dive into the concept of surface area and volume ratios.

AP Biology

We are just going to go over any topic that you want to learn about for AP Bio. Also, you can ask questions about the AP exam or the difficulty of the class.

AP Biology

We are going to go over parts of Unit 2: Topic 2.4 to 2.7. This is going to contain everything about plasma membranes, membrane permeability, membrane transport, and facilitated diffusion.

We are planning to finish Unit 2. The majority of the content is going to be focused on figuring out what hypotonic, hypertonic, and isotonic means and different AP Bio questions that pertain to Unit 2.

We are going to get into Unit 3! One of my favorite units and we are going to start with enzymes and understanding how they function and how they are affected by the environment. If we have time, we will dive into the complexities of cellular respiration. 😀
