You do not need any prior knowledge on the APUSH curriculum to join this series.

Today, we will go over:
  • Course framework and exam structure
  • Lesson 1.1: Contextualization
  • Lesson 1.2: Native American societies before European contact
I recommend note taking with pen/pencil and paper, or digitally if you prefer. You will not need any prior knowledge for this session!

In this session, we will go over Lesson 1.3: European exploration in the Americas. I recommend note taking with pen/pencil and paper, or digitally if you prefer. It is a good idea to have a grasp on the content covered in our first session on Lessons 1.1 and 1.2

Today, we will go over Lesson 1.4: The Columbian Exchange, Spanish exploration, and conquest. I recommend note taking with pen/pencil and paper, or digitally if you prefer. If you missed the previous sessions, I would recommend going over Lessons 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3.

Today, we will cover:
  • Lesson 1.5: Labor, slavery, and caste in the Spanish colonial system
  • Lesson 1.6: Cultural interactions between Europeans, Native Americans, and Africans
If you missed the previous sessions, I would recommend going over the previous lessons.
