Series Details

About

Learning how to graph and solve systems of equations are two of the most important topics in Algebra I. This will series would be a great review for students taking Algebra II next year or for those who want to get a head start on Algebra I. I will use slideshows and notes throughout the course.

Session 3

Catchup

This is a make-up session. We will go over two-variable linear equations and slope, including the slope of vertical and horizontal lines.

Session 4

Linear equations & graphs

This is part two of linear equations and graphs. We will begin by going over x and y-intercepts. After that we will work on how to graph linear equations. I will use word problems and number problems.

Aug

Session 5

Forms of linear equations

We will cover how to graph and write slope-intercept equations. At the end we will talk about how to create a slope-intercept equation from two points.

Aug

Session 6

Forms of linear equations

This sessions we will talk about how to graph standard and point-slope equations.
12
Aug

Session 7

Systems of equations

We will have an introduction to systems of equations. Then we will talk about how to solve systems of equations with substitution.
13
Aug

Session 8

Systems of equations

We will cover the elimination method. Then we talk about equivalent equations and the number of solutions to systems of equations. If we have time, there will be some systems of equations word problems.
