About

In this series, we'll cover derivatives and applications of differentiation thoroughly, going over each topic and doing lots of practice problems (including MCQs and FRQs from past papers) so that you can be ready for some of the longest and most challenging units in AP Calculus AB and BC before school starts.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

You are free to attend/skip whichever sessions you want. I strongly advise that you have a good understanding of precalculus topics so that you won't get lost.

About the Tutor

Hi! I'm Delfin and I'm an 11th grade student. I'm passionate about maths and physics and want to study physics abroad. I can help with any math topics up to AP Calculus BC, any physics up to AP Physics C: Mechanics (but not electricity and magnetism), basic Java Script, HTML, and CSS. I'm into music and sports and I like reading in my free time.

Session 1

AP Calculus

We're going to do an introduction to derivatives (including the definition, limit definition aka the first principle, different notations, rules of differentiation) and end the session with practice problems (mostly in MCQ form).

Session 2

AP Calculus

We'll review the rules of differentiation, then we'll learn all about differentiability and parametric functions (BC) and we'll end the session with some practice problems including MCQs and FRQs.

AP Calculus

We'll review parametric functions and jump to implicit differentiation, after that we'll learn about the derivative of the inverse of a function and end with practice problems (mostly MCQs and few FRQs).

AP Calculus

We'll start by reviewing implicit differentiation. Then, we'll learn about the Mean Value Theorem, Intermediate Value Theorem and L'Hopital's Rule and end the session with practice problems (MCQs and FRQs).

We'll start by reviewing MVT and IVT. Then, we'll start the Applications of Derivatives with optimization and second derivatives and end the session with practice problems (MCQs and FRQs).

We'll start by going over a few optimization problems. Then, we'll take a look at different questoin types such as related rates and linear motion and end the session with practice problems (MCQs and FRQs).
