Series Details

About

In this series, we will be going into how to solve and the different applications of differential equations.

We'll be going through ~8 different ways to solve differential equations, ending with the Dirac Delta Function and Lagrange Equations.

You don't need to know any Calculus for this series, but Pre-Calculus / Advanced Algebra 2 is needed!

All you need is your mind and a pencil (to take notes)! Join if you want to learn some things about the universe that you might have not know before😀

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

I'm fine if you miss sessions as I will be hosting a lot of them during the school year, but it would be nice to let me know on message b4. You are free to attend/skip whichever sessions you want.

About the Tutor

Hey guys! I'm a senior living... somewhere. I love Physics, and while some may call Chemistry a derivation of pretty much every other science (except Biology), I love it too. In my free time, I do some amateur astrophotography and play the piano. Feel free to join my sessions if you want to learn something cool!

Session 1

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

Calculus 1+2 Derivatives:
- What is a derivative? (Intuitiely and Limit Form)
- How do we calculate the derivatives of a function?
- Different differentiation rules

Will include some AP Calculus problems if time permits 😊

Session 2

Differentiation: composite, implicit, and inverse functions

Calculus 1+2 Derivatives:
- More advanced derivatives
- Introduciton to Multivariable Derivatives
- Identifying Linear Functions + Order
- Ordinary DEs vs. Partial DEs

I'll include some self-made problems throughout the session!

Session 3

Differential equations

We'll be going into initial conditions of differential equations and how to check whether an equation is a solution of a differential equation. Then we'll get into graphing differential equations! I'll be including tons of examples, as this topic is easier to learn with practice.
