Hello! I'm a high school junior from Georgia. I'm here to reach my goal SAT score, and help students with algebra 1 and 2! In my free time, I enjoy painting, playing guitar, and reading.

Hi! I’m a recent high school graduate with a strong background in math, including Math AP, and I'm gearing up to study Data Science! Math has always been my passion, and I’m currently exploring how to help others understand it better. I’ve found that guiding peers through their math struggles makes me happy, and I’m eager to keep learning how to tutor more effectively. But when I am not doing Math, I am probably enjoying some video editing, nature or just sleeping.

Factors and multiples

Factors and multiples

Sat 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCNov 23, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

We will kick off this series with Factors and Multiples. In this class, we’ll explore the building blocks of numbers by diving into factors, multiples, prime numbers, and divisibility rules. Together we’ll solve problems as a team, breaking down each step along the way. Then, you’ll have the chance to practice independently, solidifying what you’ve learned. You will have a 10 question OPTIONAL homework.

Patterns

Patterns

Tue 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCNov 26, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

In this interactive class, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of patterns! We’ll explore how to recognize, extend, and create patterns using numbers and shapes, building essential skills for problem-solving in math. Together, we’ll work through a series of pattern problems as a group, discussing strategies and discovering the “rules” that make each pattern work. Then, you’ll have a chance to try some on your own to put your skills to the test. You will have a 10 question OPTIONAL homework assignment.

Ratios and rates

Sat 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCNov 30, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

In this engaging class on rates and ratios, we’ll explore the fundamental concepts that help us compare quantities in math and real life! We’ll start by working together on a variety of problems to understand how rates and ratios work, learn how to set them up, and discuss when to use each one. Then, you’ll have a chance to practice on your own, reinforcing what you’ve learned. You will have an OPTIONAL homework after this class.

Percentages

Tue 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCDec 3, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

In this session, we’ll uncover how percents connect to fractions and decimals and learn strategies for solving real-world percent problems. We’ll work through examples together, breaking down each step to understand concepts like finding percentages, calculating discounts, and working with increases and decreases. After our group practice, you’ll have the opportunity to tackle a few problems on your own to solidify your understanding. You will have a 10 question OPTIONAL homework.

Variables & expressions

Variables & expressions

Tue 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTCDec 10, 12:30 AM - 1:30 AM UTC

In this class, we’ll unlock the power of variables and expressions—the building blocks of algebra! We’ll start by exploring what variables are, why we use them, and how they help us represent unknown values in math. Then, we’ll learn to write and interpret expressions by combining variables with numbers and operations. Together, we’ll work through examples, translating word problems into mathematical expressions and simplifying them step-by-step. Afterward, you’ll have the chance to practice creating and working with expressions on your own. You will have a 10 question OPTIONAL homework after class.
