About
Hi! My name is Mia and I am a junior in high school. I took the AP last year, and got a 5 so I am excited to be able to help others to do the same!
Unit 4 of AP Biology is pretty content heavy, so I will most likely split it into 2 parts, with the first session focusing on cell communication and the second on the cell cycle. I want to be able to explain things clearly and answer any questions so I think that splitting it up will (1) keep the sessions from going on for too long and (2) allow for more questions and active learning.
Throughout the session, I will provide MCQ from the AP biology course in Khan Academy and I will go through how to answer them. At the end of the session, I will go over an FRQ and how to answer it effectively using the rubric from Collegeboard.
If learners want, I can also set up office hour sessions where I can go over specific questions, so please privately message me.
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me through SchoolHouse!
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
You will be withdrawn from the series if you have more than 2 unexcused absences in a row. Please message the tutor in advance for any absences!
