About
Let's review exponential growth and decay. We'll learn how to construct, interpret, and apply exponential functions to model a variety of real-world contexts, from modelling population growth and radioactive decay to interpreting interest rates.
Twice a week, we'll go over one topic. Topics include:
-Interpreting the Rate of Change of Exponential Models in Context
-Construting Exponential Models According to Rate of Change
-Interpretation of Exponential Models: Manipulation and Changing Units
Each session will include topic questions or an activity for you to practise what was covered in the session, and be encouraged to come off mute or type in the chat for general participation, such as asking or answering questions.
Tutored by
I'm a high school student from New Jersey and I'm here to help tutor others in anything one needs. In my free time I like teaching myself new stuff, working out, and going hiking.
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
Each session will build on previous sessions, so missing a session may put you behind. Please message the tutor in advance for any absences. Ultimately, you are free to attend/skip whichever sessions you want; but, if you are not an active learner, you will be withdrawn to open up a spot for other learners.
