About

Hi, my name is Shourya, and I am excited to help you all with the SAT! (I have received a 1570) I hope to be able to address the many different types of questions on SAT Reading and Writing, as well as answering any questions you may have. Let's do this!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

Hi, my name is Shourya and I am very excited to tutor here!! I am in the IB Program, Grade 10. Have taken PSAT 10 (1520) and SAT (1570); excited for the NMSQT next year! Fingers crossed🤞 I would like to stress the importance of self-studying, being someone who has progressed to high scores on competitions, PSATs, and SAT with my own hard work and persistence. I have competed in different math competitions (AMC 8, AMC 10, MOEMS, KSEA NMSC, CIE MathComp/MathFun, RSM IMC) I really like to do math!! I also play the piano, and enjoy playing chess, hiking, and learning more French. I want to help others learn more here, and also learn new things myself. 𝘓𝘢 𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘵𝘦 𝘤'𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘢 𝘷𝘪𝘦!

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended every session.

If you reach two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from this series.
