About

Hi, my name is Hannah, and I'm quite excited to teach the Math SAT to you all! As a student, I've taken mathematics all the way until Calculus BC and plan on pursuing higher math once I graduate! If you need help with any Math-related AP course, (CSA, Calc, Stats, etc.), I'm your gal! :) As a tutor, I teach through example and immersive learning. I try to connect the current lesson to something you've already learned and feel comfortable with to branch out from there. I feel it's important to base new things we're learning about on a foundation of past knowledge, so I will start off by trying to asses the general understanding of the group. We will go through several examples, which will gradually increase in difficulty until you pretty much understand all the different ways one concept on the SAT can be seen in a question. I will be open and happy to conduct extra meetings, because I do understand the feeling that only 1-2 hours a week isn't enough to learn all you need to know for the exam. I'm excited to teach you over the course of our bootcamp, and wish you all the best of luck on your test!

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Please do not miss more than one session over the four weeks, as that will negatively affect your learning and may also take up a spot from another learner who could have attended.

Message your tutor if you have an extenuating circumstance and must miss a session. If you have two unexcused absences, your tutor may remove you from the bootcamp series.

In this session, we’ll finish the practice exam (calculator) from the previous session. After that, we’ll spend some time reviewing it. To end off the session (and the bootcamp!), we’ll wrap up everything and provide some final words of advice/encouragement.
