We'll go through Arithmetic and Geometric progressions, starting from basics and eventually learning to solve advanced problems.

About the Tutor

I am a rising junior in Bengaluru and I am particularly passionate about mathematics, and how it can be applied to supplement other areas of scientific study. Series

We will see what an Arithmetic Progression (AP) is, and look at some properties of APs. We will also derive the formula for the sum of an AP. We will end with some practice problems.

We will see what a Geometric Progression (GP) is, and look at some properties of GPs. We will also derive the formula for the sum of a GP. We will end with some practice problems.

We will understand what an Arithmetico-Geometric Progression (AGP) is, and look at the relation between Arithmetic and Geometric Means. We will spend some time in problem-solving as well.
