About

This series will be about graphing sin and cos functions the easy way. It is open to anyone with a basic knowledge of trigonometry (SOHCAHTOA).

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

I'm not going to be strict on attendance. I'll leave it up to you to decide. Make sure to read the session descriptions and attend according to your needs. I highly recommend that you attend all sessions so that you can understand everything.

About the Tutor

Hello! my name is Adith and I'm a junior in high school. I usually tutor in Algebra I and Algebra II. My sessions will mostly be about shortcuts and easier ways to solve math problems. In my free time I enjoy listening to music and playing the piano. I'm a huge fan of The Office and I also love watching cricket. I hope to see you in some of my sessions soon!

Trigonometry

Session 1: Unit Circle Basics. This session will be about the key values on the Unit Circle. Don't worry, I won't make you memorize the whole thing. We will just learn 4 values that we need for the rest of the series. You won't need to memorize those either :) If you know the whole unit circle, you don't HAVE to attend (but you should).

Trigonometry

Session 2: Trig Function basics. This will be about the main parts of a trig function graph (amplitude, mid-line, etc). If you need are completely new to this or need a refresher, I would highly reccomend attending.

Day 3: Graphing Cos functions. This will be one of the main sessions of this series. We will go over graphing cos functions with and without phase shift.
