About

Each week, we will go over new topics in the AP Calculus AB curriculum. I will either teach the topic or work through/provide example problems for us to work on together, depending on how far along students already are. Be sure to bring a paper and pencil to follow along! (Note that more sessions will be added as time goes on)

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Try not to miss a session, as the topics build atop one another. If you are going to miss class, message me in advance so I can tell you how you can catch up.

Session 1

Limits and continuity

First, we will discuss what each of us individually is hoping to get out of this series and where we are at with our calculus knowledge. After this we will discuss topics in Limits and Continuity. Make sure to bring a pencil and paper!

Session 2

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules

Depending on what people say during the first session, I will either be introducing the material or working through example problems with you all. In any event, we will be covering things such as the Power Rule, Product Rule, Quotient Rule, etc. as well as an intuitive understanding of what the "derivative" is. Make sure to bring a pencil and paper!
