We'll go through each topic of Algebra I over the course of four weeks. We'll thoroughly learn each concept before solving practice problems to demonstrate mastery.

Orientation

We'll start off by introducing ourselves and getting to know each other. Then, we'll go over Algebra Foundations and solve some practice problems.

Session 2

Solving equations & inequalities

We'll review how to solve single equations. Then, we will learn how to solve multistep and complex equations and inequalities. Lastly, we will solve practice problems.

Linear equations & graphs

In this session, we'll be introduced to linear equations and their graphs. We will also learn about how to model them some of the graph's features. Finally, we will solve practice problems.

Session 4

Forms of linear equations

We will learn about different forms of linear equations, from standard, to point-slope, to slope-intercept. We will also solve practice problems.

Session 5

Systems of equations

In this session, we will learn how to solve systems of equations, using various methods. This can be a challenging topic at first. We will also try to fit in systems of inequalities if there is time. At the end, we will do some practice problems.

Functions

We will learn the vast subject of functions. From notation to graphs and their features, this topic has many subtopics. As usual, we will solve practice problems at the end.

Sequences

In this session, we will learn about geometric sequences and arithmetic sequences. We will also practice the skill with practice problems.

Session 8

Absolute value & piecewise functions

We will go over two lessons today. First, we will learn about absolute value and piecewise functions. Then, we will do a quick review of exponents and radicals. We will finish off with practice questions on both topics.

Session 9

Exponential growth & decay

In this session, we will learn about exponential growth and decay. After we are familiar with the subject, we will solve some practice problems.

Session 10

Quadratics: Multiplying & factoring

We will go over quite a few topics. First, we will get familiar with monomials, binomials, and polynomials. Then, we will learn about factoring. Then, we can mix these two skills by learning how to multiply and factor quadratics. At the end, we will test our knowledge with practice problems.

Session 11

Quadratic functions & equations

Our last Algebra I topic is quite the lesson. We will go in depth into quadratics equations and their graphs. We will learn different forms of quadratics, their graph's features and the quadratic formula. Finally, for one last time, we ill go over some practice problems.

We will review many of the topics we learned over the past few weeks.
