*Get ready to Excel in your Calculus class this School Year & Crush that AP - From someone who Scored a 5 on both: AB & BC!*
- We'll Cover all units in the AP Calculus AB/BC Curriculum, including Limits, Derivatives, Integrals, Series, and Polar Functions. Lessons will be hands-on interactive and will compliment instruction being delivered at your school.
- Teaching resources will include Desmos, Khan Academy, Microsoft Whiteboard, and Kahoot, among others.
- Pre-Requisites: Proficiency in Algebra 2 and/or Pre-Calculus
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
You will be withdrawn from the series if you have more than 2 Consecutive Unexcused Absences. Please notify the tutor if you will miss a session, and you will be marked excused.

Review
In This Session, we will review all Pre-Calculus topics that will launch you to success in Calculus. Afterwards, we'll go over practice problems to reinforce the concepts. We'll End by exploring the trains of thought that led to the creation of Calculus as a field of math.

Review
This will be Part 1/2 of our exploration with Limits and continuity. We'll go over topics like Left & Right hand limits, point, jump, and removable discontinuities, limits from tables, Intermediate Value Theorem, Evaluating conditions for continuity, and using algebraic properties for limits. We’ll also cover special limits like (sin x)/x. We'll use Desmos and real AP-style practice problems to solidify our understanding.

Differentiation: definition and basic derivative rules
This session is part 1/2 of your introduction to derivatives. We'll explore the concept of rate of change to gain an intuitive understanding, followed by the 3 key rules of this unit: The Power rule, Product rule, and Quotient rule. We'll also review basic properties of derivatives and derivatives of functions like e^x, sin x, cos x, and ln x.
