About

Hello! I'm Yashas, and I’m a 10th grader from Illinois, USA. My experience with Math and the SAT includes an 800 in SAT Math and a completion of math-involved AP courses (including AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics). I know that reviewing for the SAT (and any exams, for that matter) can be stressful, and I wish the best of luck for everyone taking it this June. I find that one of the best ways to understand new concepts in math is through a visual medium, so I plan to use as many interactive animation/graphing resources (such as Desmos!) as I can in order to make the course fun and easily comprehensible. Besides math, I also love reading, playing piano, and learning new languages. I hope everyone finds this SAT “Bootcamp” to be helpful, engaging, stress-free, and enjoyable! This three-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming June SAT in Math. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in June. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can’t have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.
