About

Chess is an engaging game, which is rising in popularity! In this series, we'll go through the rules to get you started and dive into beginner mistakes and tactics. Later on, we will have a tournament! As this is an introductory series, no prior knowledge is needed. However, at the end of the course it is highly recommended to have a lichess.org account, which is where the final games will be held.

Tutor Qualifications

Playing chess for over 5 years know, I have been on the team for my school and enjoy teaching the game to new learners.

✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY

Try to make all the introductory sessions, however the games later on are not mandatory.
