Struggling with the SAT math sections? Hoping to improve your score? Then this series is for you!
This 4-week series will cover the core topics of the SAT (Heart of Algebra, Passport to Higher Mathematics, Problem Solving and Data Analysis) as well as tips and tricks from someone who scored a 790/800 on the SAT Math Section! Additionally, the last two sessions will consist of taking and reviewing a full practice test, so you will feel comfortable taking the exam.
✋ ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attending sessions is important for those hoping to get the most out of the series, so attendance at all sessions with the exception of office hours and Kahoot reviews is highly suggested. However, I will not withdraw anyone for missing one of these sessions with prior notice, where I will supply the slides and practice problems from the session.

This session will focus on the Heart of Algebra. We will begin with an overview of linear equations, systems of linear equations, and linear word problems and will then go over practice problems. At the end of this session, I ask that students go over additional practice on Khan Academy and bring any questions to office hours.

This is an OPTIONAL meeting for those who have any questions regarding the test or would like additional practice with the help of a tutor. If all questions are answered before the session ends, we will do additional practice problems on the Heart of Algebra.

This session will focus on the Passport to Advanced Mathematics. We will begin with an overview of nonlinear equations, systems of nonlinear equations, and analyzing graphs and will then go over many word problems. At the end of this session, I ask that students go over additional practice on Khan Academy and bring any questions to office hours.

SAT Math
This session, we will be taking a break from SAT Math and reviewing some of my essential test taking tips. In the last half hour of this session, we will be taking a practice No Calculator math section test to try and apply these strategies. We will go over the practice test in the session the following day.
