About
In this session, we’ll discuss the fundamentals of building muscle and basic strength and mobility-training moves with a focus on injury prevention. We will NOT be discussing what an “ideal” body looks like since that’s different for everyone. We will also debunk common fitness misconceptions.
Whether you’re an athlete looking to enhance your performance, or you’re a beginner looking to get a foothold in strength training, everyone can benefit from this introductory session.
We’ll be discussing the main factors of your body involved with performance (e.g. heart rate, muscle contraction, range of motion, etc.) and how to optimize these for your specific needs.
Tutor Qualifications
I’ve been lifting weights for over a year and I’m working on getting a Personal Trainer certification. I’ve taken anatomy and biology classes, as well as volunteering at a youth sports camp.
