In this series we will learn how to turn random scraps of wire into jewelry. No prior experience is required, but you might want wire cutters and a few pairs of pliers.

Each week we will go over a different body system, discussing its anatomical aspects, how it functions, and the diseases/disorders associated with it. It is helpful for anyone interested in medicine, taking a health science course, or taking part of a health science based club. I will be adding sessions as we progress through the week, so the current timeline of sessions is not final and is subject to change.

Every 2-3 weeks, we will discuss a topic involving productivity and being a good student/ the best version of yourself. You will learn effective study techniques, how to manage your time, resources, strategies, and be guided by not only me, but others who have also mastered something involving these topics!! This course is designed for those who are self-studying and/or taking the AP Exam this May. In each session, we will go over the content and develop a deep understanding through discussion and interactive activities. We will take numerous practice exams and have consistent review schedules. This series will last from the end of September 2024 to May 2025. Since this will be a long series, please only register if you can make the multi-month commitment. In addition, for this series to be most effective, I will be capping the learner spots to 20 max. Therefore, please only register if you are taking the Exam in May and if you can make the commitment.

Staying up to date with the market & the economy around the world is crucial, and sharing thoughts on it with someone else can add you great insights. However, findinding a mate to discuss economy is like finding a needle in a haystack, as school kids seem to be more interested in gossip in school than stuffs like inflation and interest rates that are affecting the whole world. This craving drived me to create 'The Late Late Econ Talk' here on schoolhouse. I borrowed the theme of late-night TV programs to name this special series. Just like late night talk show, we will discuss what happened in the economy this week in a very relaxed environment. Every Saturday before you go to bed, drop by 'The Late Late Econ Talk' for 30 minutes, and it will be the perfect recap of the week. I will post major economic events of the week we could discuss with bullet points at least 7 hours before the session starts. Feel free to leave the issues you want to dicuss, and you could also share the link of the news article you want the members to take a look. And don't feel pressured—If any topic you are not familiar with appears, others who are well-informed about the topic will explain. We will not rush; instead we will always make sure that everyone shares the same level of understanding before we delve into discussion. Each week, we will read one chapter of Stuff Matters and discuss what parts we found interesting with each other. There will be a brief overview of the chapter, then the discussion, and then discuss the current research in that area.

Each week, we will go over a topic pertaining to competitive engineering robots. While this series is catered to students competing in the Vex Robotics competition, it is open to anyone in any other competitive engineering programs or people that just want to learn more about how robots are made!

In these sessions, we will learn the basics of finance and investing, covering topics such as how to read income statements, balance sheets, stock prices, etc. These sessions will not only involve learning; we will also have group discussions on companies and more. We will cover basic procedures of MUN conferences, document writing, motions and rules. In the future sessions, we will run a simulation MUN, MUN Taster, separated into 2 sessions. You will be representing a country, form a bloc, and pass a Draft Resolution together!

In this series, we will play Kahoots on some random topics and have fun. In each session, we will have a topic and we will play various Kahoots in that topic.

In this series, we’ll dive into the art of quilling, exploring various techniques and designs. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, learn tips and tricks, and create their own unique quilled art pieces each session. We'll have a class twice a week :) (This series starts in December)

In this series, we will learn the basic of one of the oldest languages in the world. Some background information about Sanskrit: - Many Indian scriptures like the Vedas and Bhagavad Gita are written in Sanskrit. - Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages. - Many Indian languages are derived from Sanskrit like Hindi and Marathi. No prior knowledge is required to attend this series. In this series, we will learn the following: - Simple Sanskrit Phrases - Introduction phrases like greetings and saying your name. - Sanskrit Grammar - Forming simple sentences using two words. Pronoun + Verb - Sanskrit Numbers - 1 to 20 - Sanskrit Days of the Week - Anything else you want to learn how to say in one of the oldest languages in the world!!
