Functions and linear models
In this class, we’ll explore the world of functions and linear models, key concepts in algebra that help us understand relationships between variables. We’ll start by learning what a function is, how to recognize functions from equations, tables, and graphs, and how to interpret function notation. Then, we’ll dive into linear models, discovering how they represent constant rates of change and create straight-line graphs. We’ll work through examples together to understand how to create, interpret, and apply linear models, and you’ll have a chance to practice identifying and working with functions on your own. You will have an OPTIONAL 10 question homework.
