Thank you for this session! Wish to have more practice in the future! Thank you!

I feel that the tutor did very well in demonstrating their knowledge of the skills required for AP U.S. History LEQ prompts. By thoroughly analyzing each step of the LEQ process, it really helped (at least for this learner) that you referred to the structure of the AP World History (which your learner took) LEQ prompts. In addition, you analyzed the tips and tricks like an AP Reader, which really helped your learner understand how essays are supposed to be written, and the structure that they should aim to have during the 40-minute period that they were to be given.

-You ask the learner to rate their understanding on a scale from 1-5 prior to the session. You also ask generally if the learner is new to quadratics or just wants a refresher. This is sufficient for checking the learner's prior knowledge. -You have the learner participate as much as possible so that you could adapt the session to their needs. The questions above gave you a good understanding of the learner's prior knowledge, and you were able to work from there. By engaging the learner throughout the session, you saw exactly where their weak points were and worked to improve their understanding of those concepts. -You ask the learner some good guiding questions such as "what is a polynomial?" and guide them to a more precise answer ("how many different terms?"). This helps you gauge their understanding of the topic while simultaneously stimulating the learner to think. Even though the learner did not speak up using their microphone often, they were engaged as much as they could be through chat. -Since you're so engaged with the learner, you didn't have to directly confirm their progress. You were able to see how their understanding grew from the start of the session to the end. I like that you still ask if the learner understands from time to time before moving on to a new topic. That works sufficiently for this session.

You guys are very well-versed in Algebra 1 topics! You approached this session carefully and masterfully. It is great that you made it a priority to check on the learner's prior understanding and based the entire session off of that evaluation of their concerns and needs. The amount of progress that the learner made throughout the session is significant, and you should be proud of that. Your explanations of the concepts you covered were thorough and supplemented by annotations of the problem and work written on the screen. As co-hosts, you collaborate and communicate well, and that relationship is why the session ran so smoothly. Great job overall!

Aditya and Jayden, you did a nice job in this session! I like that you started with the Heimler videos for the topics that you covered last session; it helps those who missed the last session or simply need a refresher catch up. It also looks like you provided the learners with a lot of good resources, such as Heimler's channel as well as the AMSCO book. When you go over MCQs, your explanations of the correct answer are thorough and understandable. However, you want to appeal the session to the learners; that is, have them talk about their process behind getting the correct/wrong answer before you do. You do still well in clearing up the learners' doubts; for example, at 1:00:31, you are clear and concise in your explanation of why the logic the learner tried to invoke didn't apply. Well done overall!

You did a great job incorporating the Khan Academy resources into the lesson. You also seemed to understand the concepts in both formulaic and more conceptual ways.

Yuvraj and Aditya, you effectively introduce the APUSH course in this session! I like that you prepared a slideshow to help guide the session. I also noted that you worked well together and were able to congregate and come up with a joint idea of how the session would progress. I can tell you were organized because of your teamwork and preparation. Thank you for providing the learner with the links to a lot of external sources that they can use on their own time to prep for the APUSH exam; the more resources, the better, because the learner would have more options to choose from and more perspectives that they can consider. When you go through SAQs, consider annotating them to show what the learner should retain and what they should avoid doing so that you can demonstrate your tips in action. Overall, you did well in this session.

He took the time to explain examples and notions ofcertain algebra rules like - alone has a numeric 1 and corrected little confusions like greater than or less than symbolic usages!

Great job explaining the Khan Academy video alongside Sal! The thorough explanation of each and every aspect of the question definitely strengthened the learners' understanding of the concept even further. The visuals were already in place, but using the cursor to help make the visuals easier to understand and comprehend as you explain was perfect. Overall, the beginning and rest of the session showed a great understanding of the material!
