The IBO Chairman hailed Campbell's biology as the "Bible" of biology. It is a fascinating book. If you love Biology, I am sure that you will enjoy it! Campbell Biology consists of 8 UNITS and 56 Chapters. I will try to go over 1-2 chapters per week based on the potential of the class. If I see that the class needs more time to Understand the topics, I will lower the speed making it 1 chapter per 2 weeks. Some chapters will be skipped and I will ask the students to study them independently. Hope to see you! This is a series consisting of 8 back-to-back 3-hour sessions to make for a "mega-session" lasting for a total of 24 hours. 🎉 You are not required to join all eight sessions. Come and join us for the greatest, longest, most exciting study session EVER on Schoolhouse! We aim to shatter the record for the longest study session ever hosted by participating in this 24-hour mega study session. Come grind your summer plans, whether it be: - conducting research in the most esoteric depths of mathematical analysis, - cleaning out your bedroom which you have not been able to make yourself clean for the past year, - torturing your fingers to master La Campanella on the violin, - anything in between! You do not have to stay for the entire 24 hours, as long as you are able to come. We welcome as many tutors in as many different timezones as possible to cohost the session! This record-breaking event cannot happen without a joint effort of many, many tutors. In the spirit of most study space series on Schoolhouse, we will also use the well-celebrated Pomodoro technique of 25-minute study times and 5-minute breaks. We can do this! 💪

Every week we will go over a chosen topic (by learner nomination) in ancient history and discuss together This series will not be structured in a lecture style and won’t have “lessons” but will have class discussions with materials I find beforehand. 60-70 minute courses focused on effective debate and speech ethics, the rules of MUN, and techniques to help you become an award-winning delegate.

Each weekend, we'll go over 1 lesson generally covered in a Honors/Advanced Biology course. We'll use a mix of Khan Academy materials and tutor-made Advanced Bio materials to ensure that the course is rigorous and rewarding. I hope to get through most of the biology curriculum for the school year by the end of summer. You may notice that we only have 2 sessions in the series, but don't worry, because more will be added as demand increases.

Each session, we will go through 1 to 2 units from the Khan Academy Algebra 1 course. We will learn new topics and do small assessments.

We will first have a lecture/introduction on the bioethical topic, then hold a debate or a discussion regarding the topic.

We will go through a general review the content covered on the AP Human Geography National Exam. This series will be treated like and introduction to semi-advanced biology, learning and then going past the high school level to understand key biological concepts This series is useful for anyone currently enrolled in high school biology looking to add some extra knowledge to strengthen their grades or anyone who just wants to learn something new Let me know what times work best for you and I will do my best to accommodate I will do my best to make this as fun and easy to understand as possible These sessions will be run less like a rigidly structured school lesson and more like a learning environment where we will be able to focus on what you want This series will focus on using the Campbell Biology Textbook 12th edition (but other editions are fine and having this book is most definitely not required) I look forward to learning with you all!
