Percentages

We will cover everything about percentages from scratch! All experience levels are welcome to join. I recommend you join this session with some basic knowledge on fractions and decimals and how you convert from fractions to decimals or the other way around. I recommend bringing any paper, a pencil, and an eraser to take notes and do questions. Bring your questions that you are having trouble with!

Multi-step equations

We'll go through understanding what defines a multi-step equation, what it consists of, examples of them, etc. I'll be describing the different types of multi-step equations. Feel free to ask any questions, bring problems you need help with, and more! If you have any questions do in fact let me know before the session. I recommend you bring paper for notes with a writing tool.

Learning equations & inequalities + Review / Practice

This session will cover from equations to inequalities. Very related to multi-step equations in Pre-Algebra but more in-depth with introductions to inequalities. We will continue solving equations that are one-step and cover basic inequalities and then go deeper to word problems and compound inequalities. I recommend bringing any paper, a pencil, and an eraser. A prerequisite that I recommend before learning Algebra foundations or any Algebra 1 content is pre-algebra. But even someone taking pre-algebra/knows some pre-algebra should be able to grasp this topic and are welcome to join.

This session will basically help you prepare for Algebra I from Pre-algebra. This session is like the building blocks of Algebra 1. We will introduce and cover variables then we will talk about division by 0. I recommend bringing any paper, a pencil, and an eraser. A prerequisite that I recommend before learning Algebra foundations or any Algebra 1 content is pre-algebra. Systems of equations

We'll learn about systems of equations with lines. We'll take a look at some practice questions. It is recommended to have experience in lines and the different forms of line equations but people from all levels of experience are welcome to join. We will not cover systems of equations with parabolas, cubics, absolute values, and other radical functions. Bring your own questions that you are having trouble with to the session! I personally recommend that you have graph paper, pencil, and an eraser with you. Calculators are not needed as the material we will cover includes basic arithmetic math.
