Reading and Writing for the March 2025 SAT

Hi! My name is Asia, and I'm really excited to help you prepare for the SAT. I have lots of experience in SAT prep, have been able to raise my own score by about 400 points, and am in the top 10% of Super Helpful ratings on Schoolhouse. This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for your upcoming SAT in Reading & Writing. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You'll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT. Since it's a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can! Note: Cameras should be on so we can all get to know each other! If you have a specific reason why you can't have your camera on, please notify me ahead of time.

The explanations were very comprehensive. Asia would explain things multiple times if someone didn't understand it. I would love to see some sentence examples, especially with grammar constructs(semicolon uses, etc). I feel like having a visual sentence of the grammar rule would be beneficial. It was very interactive and Asia made sure to interact with students with small jokes etc, being relatable, and improving the mood, even when we would only be seeing each other for one month. I believe it is very beneficial to share things about yourself, as Asia did, as it builds a rapport that helps determine the direction of the rest of the classes. It also helps Asia "become a person" rather than a tutor on the screen which definitely boosted my attention span. Thank you!
