This series is a collection of individual sessions where we go through past released FRQs. You will have 30 minutes in the beginning of the session to try out 2 FRQs (consistent with the amount of time College Board provides you). The rest of the time will be spent reviewing/scoring the FRQs together. FRQs will be pulled from a variety of AB and BC topics.

We'll go through a full released AP Physics C Mechanics practice test from the College Board. This is designed to replicate the real AP exam. Your practice exam will be scored along the AP scale (1-5 score). Some sessions involve taking the exam. Other sessions involve going over the most-missed/most-requested problems together.

This series is geared towards prepping you for the Calc AB (and BC) exam on May 9th. We'll briefly review every topic, but focus on practice problems and "formulaically" answering FRQs the "correct" way to earn all points. Each session will have practice MCQ/FRQs that are AP-style from previous exams. The sessions before 4/23/22 are AB & BC topics. The rest, marked with three asterisks (***), are BC-only topics.

This four-week tutoring series will help you prepare for the upcoming March SAT. By the end of the series, you will have completed multiple practice tests and worked through a number of problems from previous SATs, helping you build confidence for your upcoming exam. You’ll spend each session with me and a small group of other learners who are also working towards taking the SAT in March. Since it’s a small group, you can expect sessions to be very interactive as you work together towards improving your SAT skills as much as you can!

There are many questions in the SAT Writing section that fall into very predictable “categories”. In this short bootcamp, we'll practice how to identify & tackle these categories/types of questions seen regularly in the Writing Section. This is a good strategy that might work for you when taking your SAT in a few months —— Once you can identify the “type” of question you’re looking at, you’ll have a pretty good idea of how to answer the question!

We'll walk through selected problems testing a variety of SAT math topics from past released tests (as well as official practice tests). There will also be optional "office hours" every other Sunday if you need help with a specific math topic on the SAT or have questions. SAT Math sessions will be every Saturday at 4 PM EST, and Office Hours will be every other Sunday at 4 PM EST unless there are scheduling conflicts.

We will review/learn & practice 5 different integration techniques: u-substitution, integration by parts, integration with trig identities, inverse substitution, and partial fraction decomposition. All of these techniques are on the BC exam, and u-substitution is on the AB exam. We'll work through past AP exam MCQs on forces and a "study guide" testing the main concepts of this unit.

In this series, we will practice breaking down SAT reading passages to find/understand the main ideas, as understanding the main idea is essential to doing well on the SAT Reading Section. We will review AB topics (limits, differentiation, and integration) that will be tested again in BC, and introduce more advanced BC problems and analytical techniques on these topics throughout. Additional sessions will be added in the future as planning is an ongoing process. This series is designed as a supplement for learners taking or planning to take AP Calculus BC after HAVING TAKEN calculus AB

This 4-day "boot camp" will focus on common equations/functions seen on the SAT. Each day we’ll discuss a different type of equation (linear, exponential, quadratic, and circles). We will focus on understanding the parts of each equation & their various forms (for example: standard, vertex, slope-intercept forms), when to use each form, and how to identify graphs when given their equation (with a focus on transformations). This series will be designed for learners who have already been exposed to the equations before and want brief review & extra practice.
