Loved the written problems solved out. It helped me figure it out. Thanks!

I struggled to comprehend several questions that Yoshita was able to elucidate within minutes. Despite my repeated errors, which could be attributed to my "dumbass" moments, Yoshita demonstrated exceptional patience and kindness. She persevered in assisting me until I fully grasped the concepts behind the questions. Thank You!

Her explanations were great! She really helped me understand how to graph equations from standard form.

was super clear and step by step in explanation, and answered questions on time as well, thanks!!!

Yes, the learner verbally expresses that she understands the topic/question at 6:17 and displays gratitude towards you a few seconds after that. She definitely appears more confident in the subject as well.

I see that this is a live help session; that means that you don't really need a super thorough introduction. Thanks for saying hello, but remember to also greet the learner by name. You could say something like "Hi ____, what would you like to go over today?" I appreciate your candor at certain times during the session, such as when you mentioned that you're not certified in SAT prep. This definitely allows the tutor to trust you more. I've given you full points for creating a comfortable learning environment especially because the learner outwardly indicates that she wants to be tutored by you (6:36). This also shows that the learner is a lot more confident in her abilities because of your help. Keep up the great work here! I am sure you will continue to hone these skills in future sessions.

Learner confirms that they've understood the tutor's explanation at the end of the lesson by saying "Got it. Thank you!"

The learner already let you know what her concern was before you really had the opportunity to ask, so it looks like you picked up a solid understanding of the learner's prior knowledge. You also asked further questions about what grade the learner is in; I cannot really tell where you applied this in your explanation, but it's still completely okay to ask. You also clarify what the learner specifically needs help with the problem you're going over. This definitely helped you adapt to her needs. This learner in particular did not have too many concerns and picked up the topic fairly quickly, so there wasn't that much of an opportunity to adapt your tutoring, but keep an eye out for the specific concerns of learners in future sessions. I did notice that you asked if the learner had any prior knowledge of physics, and I can see how that would have been helpful for you to tailor your tutoring. Nicely done there! Since this is a one-on-one session, you do well at engaging the learner. You utilize an example with a car to further your point, and it was definitely successful! Finally, you confirm the learner's progress effectively by asking if she understands your explanations throughout the session. You did a nice job overall!

The tutor has showcased an advanced level of understanding of the topic in question, as shown by the analogy made with the speed of a car and the explanations given in the PowerPoint presentation.
