I loved your explanation of the first problem! The student is confused about related rates and the problem itself is quite confusing, but I loved the principles approach you took to it. You also explained the principles behind each step, which clearly helped the student follow. For example, when you are explaining the student how to find a formula for D' I really liked your approach of letting her try to come up with ideas (which were already pretty good) and then work on her actual weaknesses. Awesome session!

You did such a good job addressing the student's questions and weaknesses! Your approach of letting her share her ideas beforehand worked really well and letting her put the effort to solve the problems makes the learning process so much better for her too. I feel like the learner and you were enjoying the session a lot, because you weren't just throwing information at her instead you were actually working through concepts together. That strategy worked really well!
