Your explanations of biological concepts were very clear and understandable. You made good use of the Khan Academy annotation tool to visualize problems. I also liked how you searched different graphics on the web to further clarify what you were teaching. For example, when you were explaining anaerobic respiration, you used an online diagram that helped the new learner. Nice work!

Hey there, I just audited your session. I love your introduction at the beginning and think that it was really good for encouraging interaction with the learners. I also like that you checked to see if the learner already knew or what they knew before beginning. I like that you asked questions to check for understanding and mastery of what you are teaching it really helps for the learners to understand what you are tutoring. The way that you teach was very thorough and showed a mastery of the topic and was really great to see. Other than that have a great day!

It is wonderful that you use a sample Hi-Set exam paper to mimic the questions the learners can/may expect in the actual exam. When the learner is not able to understand the question or the answers, you are able to explain the meaning/definition of the options without giving away the answers. This worked really well as the learner was able to follow along with you and was able to comprehend your justification and make changes accordingly. For a better interaction between the tutor and the learner, it could be better to have the learner read one part of the question, and the tutor to read the different options available. A great job was done in this session, but for further interaction between the learner and the tutor throughout the entire duration, this method could be utilized. However, an amazing job was done in terms of getting acquainted with the learner in the introduction.

Hi Jennifer! I just audited your biology session, and I think you did an amazing job! I really liked how you firstly recapped what was taught in the previous session for those who were new or just needed a refresher. You knew the concepts really well, which was evident when you explained everything. I also really appreciate the fact that you were asking learners questions to see if they understood a certain concept, and if they were giving a wrong answer, you would help them out. You also constantly checked in with the learners to see if they had any questions. All in all, an amazing session!
